I am a narrative painter. I tell stories with my paint on canvas, wood, or on whatever I choose to work. It could be a painting or an assemblage.

As a narrative painter I try to weave a story throughout the piece using images, words, and design. The poems I use are almost always my own. When using a subject I try to intuitively imagine or feel the story as I paint, whether it be a live subject or a made up one.

I attended the University of Idaho and California State University, Rohn art Park, in Northern California, and earned a BA in English literature and art. I've been painting for more than 40 years.

I live with my husband Charles on our acreage in the mountains of Northern Idaho, and I write and create art almost every day.
