TOUCHSTONE FORMS … A touchstone was a piece of fine-grained dark schist or jasper for testing alloys of gold by observing the color of the mark they made on it. Touchstone: A standard or criterion by which something is judged or recognized. This particular grouping of work offers colors and forms that distinguish one artist from another, yet ALL share a mark unique to the artist.
